The picturesque South Bohemia will become the venue of the event for owners of historic and sport jewels on four wheels at the beginning of September.

The picturesque South Bohemia will become the venue of the event for owners of historic and sport jewels on four wheels at the beginning of September. Although three months remain to the start of the sixth year of South Bohemia Classic regularity rally, which is a part of the series of prestige Czech veteran rally Bohemia Classics, the organisers from ČK motorsport team bring the first information and offer to the parties interested in participation the possibility of registration.

The event will take place during the first weekend in September (4th and 5th September 2015), i.e. shortly after the end of the summer holidays. Its purpose is not to be the fastest of all – the task of the participants is to take part in the regularity ride with the set speed average according to arrow itinerary. On the route, there are moreover measured regularity tests, in which the deviation from the set passage time with the accuracy in hundredths of seconds will be penalized.

South Bohemia Classic takes place in normal traffic and historic vehicles produced up to the year 1985 (class Classic) may take part in it, a part of the start field consists of the owners of newer sport cars in Exclusive class. In the last year, the family crew of Fiala won with Austin Healey 100/4 dating back to 1956.

After the start at the Přemysl-Otakar II.-Square in České Budějovice associated with a rich cultural programme, 120 kilometre long evening leg will follow finished at Lipno-lake bank at four-star Relax Hotel in Dolní Vltavice. From this place, all the participants will take off for twice as long Saturday leg, leading them, besides the most attractive South Bohemian localities also into the heart of Šumava. The social gala-evening associated with announcing winners will take place again in the representative rooms of Relax Hotel.
